ARKLAHOMA BBQ
& REGION SUMMIT

Friday night, we will begin with supper at Andolini's Pizzeria - Tulsa on Cherry Street. We will begin at 5:30. I know this will cut out people who are coming from farther away, but it isn't our only event Friday evening.
Captain Shane Landelius of the USS Marko Ramius will be your host and guide for a Pub Crawl that starts on historic Cherry Street, meanders up to Downtown Tulsa, and then down along the Arkansas River to a truly magical final destination.
Saturday is the Barbecue itself and it will be held at the Kendal Whittier Park in the big pavilion. Once again, the chapters of Arkansas and Oklahoma are taking care of the expenses of the pavilion, and all the "fixins" for the barbecue. We ask that each person brings whatever they would liked grilled (hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, etc.) and a dish (side, dessert, salad, etc.). Buns, condiments, drinks, plates, cups, ice, and silverware will also be provided.
After a meal together, we'll head to The Gathering Place (gatheringplace.org). A huge riverfront park with something for everyone.
Around 7:00, we'll head to The Holodeck. Details aren't quite all in place, but we'll be able to visit, have an auction, watch a Star Trek movie or some episodes, and more. Stay tuned.
Sunday Morning, we'll have a farewell breakfast at Tally's Good Food Café on Route 66.
I know it is early, but I'm already working on name badges and a program. I'm buying things a few items at a time so we can keep this event either free or inexpensive. Just coming is a huge expense, and we don't want to add to the burden.
